This group LOVES to read kids' books. So tell us-- what's on your nightstand? What have you been reading?
I just finished the 3rd book for the "Pure Dead" series by Debi Gliori. Today I started "Gregor the Overlander" by Suzanne Collins. And I won't even start to list the books I have a hold on at the library.
What about you? Post a comment below! Here's your chance to tell us all what you're reading and what you recommend we read too!!

Oh my gosh! I hope you enjoy reading The Overlander series. I loved it! And once you're finished, you should try Percy Jackson and The Olympians, if you haven't read it already! I'm totally addicted to that series.
I'm in the middle of the Serpent Tide trilogy, by Utah author KL Fogg, and also I'm reading "The Luxe" Series by Anne Godbensen.
Serpent Tide took me a little wide to suck me into the story, but now that I'm in the 2nd book I want to know what happens to the characters. Same thing with "The Luxe," which is definitely for older kids (15 up) in my opinion due to some topics (S-E-X, and things along those lines).
And, let's not forget Wings, by another Utah Author, Aprilynne Pike, which is a wonderful story about fairies like you have never read them before.
Well, I'll stop talking now. I could go and on with books I recommend, but those are the ones that are fresh on my memory.
I am waiting for Wings! Plus Forest Born and The Actor and the Housewife by Shannon Hale.
In my stack I have Candyshop Wars and Fablehaven #4. I saved Brinsgr for summer also.I posted my summer reading list on my blog...
Perfect timing for this post! I just published my 11 most recent reads on my blog! (click blog, it's a link :P)

Sorry for the double comment x.x
My fingers had trouble finding the right keys. Let's try this again:
I recently finished The Chosen. Other books on my nightstand right now include two books about the Black Death (research for my WIP), The Moose That Roared (About Jay Adams and team, creators of Bullwinkle and other great cartoons and commercials), "Kristin Lavransdatter" (really good, but long, so with my habit of reading a bunch of stuff at once, it'll be on my nightstand for a while), "A Brave New World," and I think some other stuff.
