I was at a small writing worksh...I agree with this! I was at a small writing workshop here in VA and we had the opportunity to Skype with an editor in Utah. A young man (still in high school!) decided to pitch his book to this editor and the editor was so intrigued he asked for pages! <br /><br />Yep, after that we all lined up behind him hoping to get our big break...none of the rest of us were successful, but it was a great lesson nonetheless. Later that day when we broke for lunch, another presenter, a literary agent, invited us to all go out to eat with him so we could do some Q&A.
